Saudi Landscapeby ~jfkpaint

I did this painting as a gift for a friend while we were in Saudi Arabia. It's a bit contrived really. He told me he wanted a desert scene with a camel and some water in it. Though I really did not see too many places with water in the desert, I painted it anyway and threw in a couple of rocks. Painting the sand was fun though.

Thank you. Actually I did use two photos for reference. One for the desert scape and another which had the camels. The water/rock thing in the foreground I just stuck in because my friend asked me for it. Not to many standing bodies of water in the Saudi desert!
