^{I love the heavy application and all of the textures of your landscapes! The waters movement maynot be "100% realistic", but why would you want that? Your art carries a sense of modern art about it and Its quite refreshing.

Thanks for the kind words. I used to paint with thin layers for years (still do on most pieces). Paint goes a lot longer that way (expense involved). I started experimenting with thicker applications to let the paint do some of it's own things and felt more "painterly" if that makes any sense.

Thank you. Not sure if you can zoom in on it, but you would see I painted most of it thick. The photograph shrinks the view like stepping back from an impressionist painting. This was from my wifes home island. She wanted me to paint it to bring a small part of her home into our house.
